The Story of a Dead Rat

One morning I was awakened by the sound of crying kittens inside my house. I wondered where that sound came from since I cannot recall bringing a cat inside my house. Upon checking, I saw three little kittens cuddling among themselves in one corner of my porch. Their mother must have left them to search for food. Honestly, I am not a fan of cats. I had a bad history with cats when I was I child. Since then, I never saw myself owning one. That’s why that morning, I was figuring out how to transfer those kittens away from my house. However, seeing those cute little creatures made my heart melt and I just decided to keep them for a few weeks or until such time they are strong enough to leave my property. One night, I went home late from work. As I approached our main door, I was greeted by a foul smell coming from the porch where the kittens lived. I checked it out and I saw a dead rat rested right beside the kittens. The mother cat must have collected and stored it for food. I w

Rule # 1, Hire the right employees

I was an employee for more than 20 years before I decided to concentrate on my company. Honestly, setting-up and managing a start-up business was a painful experience both emotionally and financially. You also have to prepare yourself emotionally because you'll encounter so many frustrations along the way. When I was establishing my business ten years ago, I thought I had everything figured out before I set-up my com

The world stopped because of this Covid19 virus, this pandemic that crossed our path this 2020 will leave a permanent mark in our history. Future generations will look down on us due to our failure to control the pandemic for it created such huge number of casualties around the globe despite the availability of modern technology. A few decades from now the cure for this virus will be as simple as an over-the-counter drug like Biogesic, Bio-flu, Neozep and the likes. This pandemic indeed made huge and immediate changes in our lives and I am sure these changes will become the new social norms from this day on. Social Distancing. No more beso-beso, no more friendly akbays, no more shake hands, no more hugs. Sad but it will probably make us less showy and affectionate with those people who are dear to us. Goodbye PDA (public display of affection). Online is in. Non-techie individuals were forced to learn to make transactions online because of the quarantine. Since we are not
