When I was young you taught me how to read and rhyme, And showed me laughter under the smiling sunshine. I remember that day when I stumbled with pain But you carried me in you arms and the pain was gone. You taught me the meaning of respect, to other beings and to thyself You modeled these traits not only in thy words but by actions on oneself You taught me responsibility to thy spouse and to our dynasty You modeled these through thy affection to my mother and members of our family The greatest kings have conquered the strongest nation But believe me; no king is greater than your affection. He worked hard to raise his children by himself. It was said that in May 1909, one of Smart's daughter named Sonora Dodd - who was already married and a mother that time, heard a church sermon enumerating the virtues of motherhood. The sermon was in line with Mothers Day, a newly established American holiday during that period. Since Sonora's mother died young and it was his father who really took care of her and her siblings, she lobbied for the establishment of a similar holiday dedicated for fathers. The first few dates are probably fun, candle light dinner, long conversation, etc. This is what we call the “getting to know each other stage”. However, there are situations wherein after a few dates the guy will start to fade away. He doesn’t call you as often, he is always busy with something every time you will ask him out and he never returns your call. Ladies, if you are already experiencing this, trust me, the guy is not in to you. I admit it, guys are sometime insensitive. Okay, okay, guys are most of the times insensitive.
