Predicting the future. Is it a gift?

How I wish I have the gift of Nostradamus so that I can predict the future.  I want to know the future so that I can prepare myself and my loved ones in the uncertainties of this world, Like this Covid19 pandemic for instance, If I knew this would happen, I would have saved enough money, stocked more groceries, and bought all the medical supplies to survived me for a year.  Looking back at my life, there were so many failures and pains that I've been through, I wished I would have prevented it. If I knew I will be involved in a vehicle accident when I was six, I would have never left the house. If I knew that I will be involved in a painful relationship, I would have taken a different path. And If I knew that it was the last day of my dad on this earth, I would have spent more time with him before his last breath.
