World leaders will gather in Copenhagen, Denmark for the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference hopefully to sign on to an agreement committing to restrictions on emissions and which will also replace the Kyoto Protcol which will expire on 2012. No one knows what will be the result of the said conference, but no matter how many world leaders will sign the agreement, destruction of our environment will continue if said treaty will not be implemented by member countries. Battling climate change is not about the actual signing of a treaty, it all about commitment. Leaders who will sign the treaty will need to instruct their local leaders or local government units to lead the fight against climate change since they are the implementer of laws to the ultimate member of society. I am not really a fan of boxing. But as a Filipino, I have no choice but to listen to boxing updates every time there is an upcoming Manny Pacquiao boxing event. And during the actual fight, I am glued on my TV and I am one with the nation praying for Manny's success. And for every victorious fight, the nation celebrates with Manny. But his last fight with Tim Bradley was totally different, Filipinos were not excited anymore.
